Christ the source

Christ is the source of everything. Our lives have no meaning without Him. Let us use a cellphone's network  as an example or demonstration of how we should be connected to Christ. If a cellphone losses signal it is good as dead, basically you can not use it. That's exactly what happens when we become disconnected from Christ.

what connects us to the source which is Christ?

• Prayer (Colossians 4:2-4)
• Reading the word and meditating on the word (Hebrews 4:12)
• Attending church services or having a fellowship with other believers (cell groups, camps etc), (Hebrews 10:25)
• Fasting especially personal  fasting. corporate fasting is also good but we should not solemnly depend on it. As a believer you should set out a day for your fasting. (Matthew 6:16-18))
• Reading christian books, but you must be very careful on this one. some books are not a good read but the Holy spirit will help you discern

All things work together for my good

There is a Bible scripture which says '' And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them''. Honestly i used to know that scripture by heart and never understood its significance until this year. a lot has been happening into my life and i used to complain a lot, sometimes i would yell at God, but  now i have realized that the God i serve is very wise. He will never do anything to harm me but He's got all the good plans for my life, all i have to do is to trust in Him.
